Functional Dry Needling (FDN)
By definition, “Dry Needling is a skilled technique performed by a Physical Therapist using thin filiform needles to penetrate the skin and/or underlying tissues to affect change in body structures and functions for the evaluation and management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, pain, movement impairments, and disability.”
Essentially it is a body reset to return your muscle function to homeostasis to allow for improved movement, function all while facilitating healing and muscle repair.
This skill set is both diagnostic and curative for a variety of functional deficits, pain and injuries.
