My Philosophy
My passion as a Physical Therapist lies in diagnostics. Pain is real and can be debilitating both physically and emotionally. Pain in your body is an alarm system alerting you to a dysfunction, but finding its origin is the true skill of proper diagnostics. Current medicine tends to focus on symptom management and treatment of pain without ever getting to the root of your issue. Even MRI’s just tell you what is going on, but they do not always tell you why it happened or why you’re still in pain!
My goal is to always get to the source of your issues, the WHY behind the what. Understanding why and from where your body is sending you the pain signals is crucial for understanding how we can fix your problems. My skill sets apply to the worlds of sports performance, youth athletes, weekend warriors and parents who not only can’t keep up with their kids but can’t keep up with themselves.
When I am not working, teaching, or playing volleyball I can be found on the water, fishing and communing with nature, cooking or talking whisky with friends through my educational club The Whisky Gig.
